Lot 60, MSAR Rock 4024, was the second high selling bull for $22,000, going to repeat customer Brandon Bruha of Ord, NE. A son of Coleman Rock 7200, this bull was long, thick and well balanced, having a wean ratio of 123 and a yearling ratio 122. The dam, Ransom’s Blackbird 5020, comes from a proven, top producing cow family.

Repeat customers, Roger and Ronda Stewart, Dunning, NE, bought Lot 5, MSAR Converse 4085, for $19,500. A calving ease bull out of a Blackbird cow, he had a CED of 13 and a Birth EPD of -04, and weighted 77 pounds at birth. He had a wean ratio of 112 and a yearling ratio of 108.

Stewarts also got the final bid on Lot 13, MSAR Converse 4101, for $18,000. This bull is a calving ease bull from the Blackbird line, with an actual birth weight of 66 pounds and a CED of 15 and a birth EPD of -2.1, with Wean and Yearling Ratios of 104.

JHL Ranch, Ashby, NE took home Lot 14, MSAR Converse 4079, for $17,500. Another calving ease bull with a birth weight of 66 pounds, but with a Wean Ratio of 104 and Yearling ratio of 103. His dam is from the Erica Ellen cow family, with Papa Forte 1921 being in the pedigree.

Twenty-eight LT Converse 8011 sons averaged $14,464.
